With really not knowing what I was getting myself into, Tuani Tours Nicaragua did an amazing job from arranging our transportation from the airport to the small Village of Jiquilillo and a fun filled week of non-stop amazing adventures. The week was planned out to make the most of everything but still allow you to have some chill time. I highly recommend Alvaro & Aislyn and can not wait to come back and take more of this fishing village in.Thanks, Tuani Tours Nicaragua, for making this a trip of a lifetime.

From making Coconut Oil and Tortillas, to Horsebacking riding on the beach at Sunset. Meeting the families in the Community and seeing the most beautiful sunsets in the world. My trip to Nicaragua with Tuani Tours was a truly amazing experience. I had never been to Nicaragua before, and was welcomed with open arms by the wonderful residents there. We experienced first hand traditional food making, something foreigners aren’t usually able to do. Sledding down Cerro Negro was such a rush! Surfing for the first time was incredible, and releasing baby sea turtles was an experience I’ll cherish forever. It was truly an unforgettable experience. I can’t wait to go back and see more!!

Photos and videos never prepare you for any trip. I went into this adventure open minded. On my flight to Nicaragua, I was asked what my favourite trip was to date and I named two that were tied. If you were to ask me now, Nicaragua takes the lead. This was an amazing experience and vacation all in one and it wouldn’t of been possible without Tuani Tours and the amazing guides. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. There was nothing about this trip that I disliked. It was lovely having it all planed out for me and I didn’t have to worry about anything. I can’t wait until my next Nica adventure with Tuani Tours!

I can’t speak highly enough of Tuani Tours! They make it their priority to make you comfortable and they stay with you from before you even leave the airport until you are back home. They are partnered with reliables drivers who will wait for you in the airport and bring you to your destination at any moment. They constantly are checking on you and making sure you have everything you need while you stay. They are also very knowledgeable about Nicaragua and will make sure you see everything you want to see. They really go out of their way to ensure that you are enjoying yourself and they give you a sense of security the whole trip. By the end of the trip you will surely consider them close friends!

I have just returned from an adventure in Jiquilillo Nicaragua with Tuani Tours. Being a senior citizen, I worried that I could not be accomodated and the pace of touring would be too much for me. Aislyn and Alvaro, my tour guides, went above and beyond to make my stay perfect . I experienced things that I never dreamed of and saw their compassion for their community and county first hand.It was truly an unforgettable experience and highly recommend it to anyone wanting to experience something different, leaving the details to someone else. Our trip to Jiquilillo ,a small untouched fishing village in Nicaragua was truly magical! Where do I begin,so many wonderful adventures packed into eight days! The Gallop Getaway for horse lovers was amazing,riding everyday on big,beautiful beaches and through quaint little villages with beautiful sunrises and sunsets! TuaniTours gives back so much to the community and it felt good to be part of it! We made cheese ,tortillas,coconut oil and had smoothies and delicious meals with local families,that welcomed us into their homes with open arms! Kayaking,at the estuary at 5am to watch the colourful sunset, planting in the mangroves to riding on moto bikes,and the chicken bus were all part of the great adventure and living in the community! Aislyn and Alvaro are simply the best tour guides and now ,I’m happy to call them my friends! On the last night they surprised us with baby turtle releasing on the beach,no words to explain how excited we were.Oh,can’t forget the grand opening of the Salsa Bar!

I had an amazing trip to Jiquilillo, Nicaragua with Tuani Tours, led by Aislyn & Alvaro. We rode horses daily on the beach and in the village. Jiquilillo is a small fishing village with incredible nightly catches like jackfish and red snapper. We stayed at a simple beach hotel and connected deeply with local families, cooking meals, making coconut oil, and cheese. We enjoyed sunrise/sunset horseback rides, surfing, kayaking, releasing sea turtles, planting mangroves, and more. The whole experience was beautiful and unforgettable.

We had a fantastic experience with Tuani Tours earlier this month. We spent 10 days with them in Jiquilillo, a beautiful community with so many lovely people, and in those 10 days we really got to know the village. Even though it was our second time visiting Jiquillio, we saw and learned about so many new things. Aislyn and Alvaro introduced us to many kind people, several of whom welcomed us into their homes and served us local foods/dishes. You just can’t get real experiences like these on your typical tropical vacation. We are so grateful to have had these unique opportunities to learn about a totally different culture and way of life, thanks to our true and authentic local guides.
